






SMM August 26: Dealers in Zhejiang region reported that the end-use consumption of e-bike lead-acid batteries was mediocre, with no significant improvement in battery sales. The current inventory remains close to one month. Additionally, despite the rise in lead prices, the selling price of batteries struggles to catch up. The main model, 48v20Ah, is now priced at 400 yuan per set. Manufacturers in Jiangsu region noted that the e-bike lead-acid battery market has entered its traditional peak season, and with the new national standard for complete vehicles about to be implemented, orders for vehicle assemblies are improving. Currently, the operating rate of factories exceeds 90%, and raw material lead is purchased as needed. Producers in Jiangxi region stated that the demand for replacement e-bike batteries is weak, and dealers are cautious in purchasing. To avoid an accumulation of battery inventory, the current operating rate of factories is between 70-80%, and raw material lead is mainly procured through long-term contracts.
